Selling on the Auction House

Players may list a limited number of items for sale that can be purchased by other players or the AHO. After an item sells, the gil is sent to the seller's delivery box.

Listing an Item

  • There are no fees to list an item
  • Players may list up to 20 items at once; expandable to 80
  • In order to list items for more than 2,000 gil, players must attain at least 2 jobs level 18+ or one job level 50+
  • If more listings exist than your limit allows, the oldest listings are canceled and sent to your delivery box
  • Listings can be managed via the Auction House tool

Managing Your Auctions

When a player has more than 7 auctions listed at one time, the in-game menu cannot be used to view or remove them. If this menu is accessed, a player will need to zone in order to list items on the auction house again.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please read through the following carefully before contacting a Gaia XI team member.

I didn't receive an item I purchased from the Auction House.

Please contact a game master via Discord and your purchase will be researched. If confirmed, your item will be delivered.

I didn't receive the gil for an item I sold on the Auction House.

All gil sent from the Auction House is consolidated into one single delivery box slot. If you still believe something is wrong, please contact a game master via Discord and your sale will be researched. If confirmed, your gil will be delivered.

I can't list anymore items, even though I should be able to.

If you looked at your sales history in-game with more than 7 items listed, you will need to re-zone to resolve the issue.

How are the GXI Suggested Prices (GXI-SP) determined?

First, we duplicated the prices from the Bahamut retail server recorded on the FFXI-AH website. Then we have manually made many adjustments; most based on necessity, rarity and practicality. Prices will continue to be adjusted on a daily basis.

How long does it take for the Auction House to buy my auctions?

There is no guarantee that the Auction House Organization will ever buy your auction. The more spread out your auctions are across categories, the more likely the AHO is to purchase your listing.

I bought a bunch of items, listed them at the GXI-SP and now the GXI-SP lowered. Can I get a refund?

No, this is a risk you take on playing the Auction House this way. As with a real economy and stock market, prices go up and down based on demand. The majority of GXI-SP drops on our Auction House occur because of over supply and lack of player demand. Buy and list wisely.
