Mythic Weapons

A custom questline unlike the retail experience that rewards powerful weapons and weaponskills.

While the vigil weapon is in your possesion, you may cancel the quest at any time by speaking with Kokkol in the Ruins of Alzadaal (J-8) or Kantila in Aht Urhgan Whitegate (K-10).

Speak with with Kokkol near the Runic Seal in the Ruins of Alzadaal (J-8).
- He will tell you that if you find any weapons of interest in Nyzul Isle, to show them to him.

Vigil weapons are only found in Nyzul Isle.

Roaming NMs
- Drops 1 random vigil weapon.
Floor 20 - 80 Bosses
- Drops 1 random vigil weapon.
- Drops up to 1 vigil weapon corresponding to the Runic Disc Holder's current job.
Floor 100 Bosses
- Drops 2 random vigil weapon.
- Drops 1 vigil weapon corresponding to the Runic Disc Holder's current job.

Once you have obtained a vigil weapon, trade it to Kokkol and he will tell you that he needs time to analyze it.
After an hour or so has passed, talk with Kokkol again to begin the upgrading process.

Defeat the boss in Nyzul Isle Investigation on floors 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 in any order.
Defeat each of the following bosses in Nyzul Isle Investigation in any order: Adamantoise, Behemoth, Fafnir, Cerberus, Hydra, Khimaira.
Your current progress can be checked by trading your vigil weapon to Kokkol at any time.
After completing these tasks, trade your vigil weapon to Kokkol and he will tell you to go speak to Kantila in Aht Urhgan Whitegate (K-10).
Trade your vigil weapon to to Kantila and she will tell you that she needs time to analyze it.
After an hour or so has passed, talk with Kantila again to continue the upgrading process.

Defeat each of the following beastmen kings in any order: Gurfurlur the Menacing in Halvung, Gulool Ja Ja in Mamook and Medusa in Arrapago Reef.
Your current progress can be checked by trading your vigil weapon to Kantila at any time.
After completing these tasks, trade your vigil weapon to Kantila and she will tell you that she needs time to analyze it.
After an hour or so has passed, talk with Kantila again to continue the upgrading process.

Defeat any boss in any one of the three chambers in each of the first three wings/tiers of Einherjar.
Your current progress can be checked by trading your vigil weapon to Kantila at any time.
After completing these tasks, trade your vigil weapon to Kantila and she will tell you to go speak to Devonte in Al Zhabi (J-9).
Trade your vigil weapon to to Devonte and he will tell you that he needs to continue upgrading it.

Trade Devonte the following items all at once:
- 1x Balrahn's Eyepatch - can be purchased from Kilusha in Nashmau for 25,000 ampoules of therion ichor
- 1x Wyrmseeker Areuhat - can be purchased from Zasshal in West Aht Urhgan for 35,000 Nyzul Isle assault points / tokens
- 250x pieces of Alexandrite - found in Nyzul Isle Investigation
After completing this trade, Devonte will tell you that he needs time to upgrade your vigil weapon into a mythic weapon.
After an hour or so has passed, talk with Devonte again to receive your completed base mythic weapon.
Devonte tells you to go speak with Zalsuhm in Lower Jeuno (H-9) to learn more about upgrading the mythic weapon.

With the base mythic weapon equipped, talk to Zalsuhm in Lower Jeuno (H-9) to begin the quest, Unlocking a Myth.
Gain 250 or more weaponskill points with your base mythic weapon equipped:
- Using a weaponskill grants 1 point
- Closing a level 1 skillchain grants 1 additional point
- Closing a level 2 skillchain grants 2 additional points
- Closing a level 3 skillchain grants 4 additional points
After completing this tasks, trade your base mythic weapon to Zalsuhm to unlock its weaponskill to be used with any weapon and complete the quest.

Trade your base mythic weapon to Devonte in Al Zhabi (J-9) and he will tell you that he needs 250,000 gil to fully complete the upgrade.
Trade your base mythic weapon and 250,000 gil to Devonte and he will tell you that he needs time to complete it.
After an hour or so has passed, talk with Devonte again to receive your fully upgraded mythic weapon.
