Mounts

When teleporting, warping and travel by ship is not an option to get you to where you're going, Vana'diel has two primary ways to increase your speed while on foot: rent a Chocobo or call your own steed! While renting a Chocobo is quick and easy, you won't always find yourself near a stable. This is where having your own mount you can call from any outdoor area will come in handy! Mounts can be obtained in many different ways on Gaia XI, some through missions and quests, others through events and even some through achievements! No matter how you acquire them, having a mount will help make your trip a lot easier!

Players must obtain the Chocobo Companion from the Chocobo Circuit in order to claim all other available mounts, including store-bought mounts.
